African Lions are native to hot, dry climates of the central African plains.  Lions live in prides where the males protect the pride and the females hunt for food for the pride.  

Nala and Angel came from an abusive owner who tried to teach them to respect people by using fear.  Unfortunately, many people use that method.  (i.e. punish your dog for going to the bathroom inside or reward him for going outside)
